Felicia is the owner of Kidz Konnectionz Educational Center which provides an inclusive-based curriculum. Kidz Konnectionz Educational Center provides support to children with intellectual disabilities and special needs.  Felicia has over 22 years of experience in the mental health industry.  Felicia is a parent of an adult who is autistic, so she has first-hand knowledge and experience dealing with children on the spectrum.  It has always been a passion and a dream of Felicia to own and operate a childcare/education center when her children were very young.  The struggles she experienced when looking for a qualified, reliable childcare center for her autistic child were not readily available.  Felicia became her child’s advocate and made it her priority to ensure that her child received the appropriate services needed to become independent in society.

Felicia worked in the mental health industry as a Therapeutic Support service (TSS), Behavioral Health worker (BHW), and a Behavioral service consultant (BSC) at night while working during the day in the corporate sector.  Her experience in the corporate sector allowed her the opportunity to prepare to become an entrepreneur.   While this has been a long-time dream for the owner,  in 2018, Kidz Konnectionz Educational Center evolved. Felicia left the corporate sector to become an entrepreneur.  Throughout the years, Felicia also found time to provide financial rewards to children who struggle with both behavior and academics challenges throughout the school year. Her non-profit organization is committed to building strong communities and strong families while investing in the lives of the youth. As the owner of Kidz Konnectionz Educational Center and non-proft organization, Felicia holds the following degrees.

Felicia holds two Master’s degrees one in Education with a specialization in Special Education and MBA in Business Administration from Eastern University.  She is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership with a specialization in Strategy and Innovation from Capella University.  This doctoral journey has opened her eyes to the many opportunities that lie ahead for her in both her professional and personal life.

Throughout her life, she has always sought God for wisdom and understanding.  One of her favorite bible verses is 2 Corinthians 12:8-9New Living Translation (NLT)

8 Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9 Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses so that the power of Christ can work through me.
